Charges easily with USB port. Simple to operate – one button chooses the time in 5 minute intervals, while the other turns unit on. The face area lights turn off after a couple minutes, Ut the red lights stay on. My dog seemed to enjoy this when I used it for a gentle massage. I tried it on myself; the red light area warmed a bit, but did not feel too hot. I could feel the warmth through fabric, so I know the warmth penetrates my dog’s coat.
